TIPS: 3 Twitter promotion tips
1. Create a list
A cool way to use lists is to find all of your attendees and add them into one list. Naming the list is easy “Im going to (Your Event Name)” and display it on your site. Its a bit like a twitter version of your attendee list.
2. Create a special promotion
Create a “follow us” promotion and create a #hashtag to give away a free ticket for every 10th or 25th or 50th new follower. This is brilliant for buzz and you can change the reward new followers get.
3. Add your stream to your site
If your website or blog gets a lot of visitors but your Twitter profile isn’t yet popular, this is a great way to drive people from your site to Twitter and build your following.
